You probably already know that your Apple device collects some of your phone’s data. You may also not like the idea of a corporation accessing personal information such as your location and the websites you visit. Fortunately, there are a few ways to protect yourself by tweaking some of iOS 11’s privacy controls.

The soon-to be released iOS 11 will be packed with features and enhancements, including a Files app, customizable Control Settings, and a Dock that allows users to switch between apps easily, among others. Long-time Apple users may be thrilled, but Android loyalists will likely be unmoved.

Apple will release iOS 11 in late 2017, and users should expect to see substantial tweaks in user interface and productivity features. The changes will be most evident in the iPad Pro, which the company is positioning to be a standalone computer for enterprise users.
